
Swimming Pool
Snack BarLunch service will be provided Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the swimming season. Beverages and snacks are available until 5:00 p.m. daily. Cut-offs are specifically not allowed. All individuals with long hair must wear bathing caps. ChildrenChildren unable to swim must be accompanied and watched by an adult responsible for them. Parents must at all times accompany their children at the kiddie pool. No children under 12 years of age will be allowed at the pool unless they are accompanied by either a parent or an adult. Children under 16 must use the pool dressing rooms and are not allowed in the clubhouse locker rooms (whether accompanied by their parents or not). Children under 16, when using the pool, must remain in the pool area and are not permitted to wander in the area adjacent to the eighteenth green. Due to health concerns diapered children will not be allowed in the pool unless they have cloth diapers on plus plastic pants covering the diaper. This rule will be strictly enforced. Diaper and/or clothes changing is prohibited on the pool deck. All changing is confined to the pool locker rooms. RegistrationMembers and guests must register before entering the pool. GuestsGuests may use the pool only when accompanied by members and members shall be held responsible for the conduct of their guests. Guests may use the pool no more than six times during any season, regardless of whether they are sponsored by the same or different members. Children of members between the ages of 23 and 31 are allowed guest usage of the pool no more than 10 times per season and are subject to Guest Fees. A guest is anyone who does not ordinarily reside with a member. Grandchildren are guests on weekends and holidays. Summer visitors are considered guests. The limitation to six times does not apply to member's out-of-town guests. A guest card will be extended on member's written or confirmed verbal request. Such card will be extended for a period not to exceed 14 days. A "Summer girl" or family helper retained by member families for the swimming season will be classified as a member of the family by signing of the identification registration, and payment of the season fee for the summer girl. This will allow pool usage on an unlimited basis when accompanying children or adult family members that they are employed by. Limit 2 "summer girl" designees per family. Summer girls are not allowed to bring guests. Summer girls not in the above classification will be classified as guests and subject to the same rules as guests of members. Members are limited to no more than 8 guests at one time unless reserving for a "non-private splash party", or upon approval of the Aquatics Director. Food ServiceFood is permitted only on the pool Dining Patio. No glass of any kind is permitted in any areas surrounding the pool. Except Monday when the Snack Bar is closed, only refreshments which are obtained from the Club may be consumed in the pool area. The Dining Terrace is a non swim suit area and children wishing to utilize this area must be accompanied by an adult at all times. GeneralNo one may enter the pool unless a guard is on duty. Anyone entering the pool does so at their own risk. Complete soap showers must be taken before entering the pool. Bathers who leave the pool area must shower again before re-entering. Diving and jumping from springboard shall be straight ahead only. All valuables such as watches, wallets, etc., should be checked with the pool attendant. The club shall not be responsible for any lost personal belongings. The Aquatics Director and lifeguards are charged with the responsibility for strict observance of these rules by all members and guests. Should they deem it necessary to take disciplinary action for violations, such action may be authorized by the Pool Committee or General Manager. |
