Tennis FacilitiesRACQUETS PROFESSIONAL, MIKE MARINO One court is reserved for private member lessons by the Club Professional or staff at all times except for special events. Open Play Every effort is made to have two courts available for open play at all times. Schedules and other court rules may be changed at the discretion of the Tennis Committee as necessary to improve the tennis program. Hours of OperationJune and July - Tuesday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except for events or men's matches. August 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The courts will still be open for play in the evenings, but the Tennis Shop will be closed. Mondays - 9:00 a.m. - noon June & July Closed Mondays in May, August & September. Tennis RulesAttireOnly proper tennis attire including smooth soled tennis shoes is allowed on the courts. The Professional's judgment as to what constitutes correct tennis wear is final. Court PrioritiesTennis functions, tournaments and maintenance supervised by the Tennis Staff and Tennis Committee have priority at all times. On weekends and holidays, children of members unaccompanied by an adult member must yield to members. Doubles play has priority when others are waiting to play (i.e., singles must ask waiting adults to join them). ReservationsReservations may be made in person at the Tennis Pro Shop or by phone to the Pro Shop. Courts will rotate on the hour. All four players must rotate off if there are waiting adult members. At ten minutes after the hour, any unclaimed court is open for free play. The lower two courts will be available for free play at all times. A “one set” only rule may be required at the pro's discretion. PartiesAny member may schedule the use of the courts during the weekday for a two hour period for the purpose of a tennis party providing they include meal service at the Club. Reservations must be made through the Tennis Pro Shop and catering arrangements with club management. RegistrationWhen signing for court usage, all members in the group must be listed. Subsequent hours of play may be terminated for members of original court if play is heavy and professional staff feels the court must be turned over. GuestsMembers are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Two courts will be available for members with guests. These may be reserved up to one week in advance by calling the Pro Shop. A non-refundable guest charge will be made at that time. On special days and at heavily used times this privilege may be suspended at the pro's discretion.
